Race for the Cure
Bright and early this morning we participated in Race for the Cure, which supports breast cancer research. We had a lot of fun running in the 5K and enjoying all the activities they have going on. It is a Really neat event with a HUGE turnout! It was a wake up call for me to learn that 1 in 8 women will have breast cancer in their lifetime and to see all the women who have survived breast cancer and the signs and t-shirts remembering others. I enjoyed the 5K so much I want to start running in more events like this.

Great job Mindy! What a fun day and worthy cause! I want to do that sometime. I must work on the 5K bit!
I'm glad you enjoyed the event and it always feels good to support women! Does this mean you like running outside?
